Shelter City Amsterdam is looking for a Spring Intern!
Are you looking for practical experience in the field of human rights? Stichting URGENT / the URGENT Foundation is looking for a summer intern to work on projects combining human rights, journalism, and project management from March 2023 to mid-June.
The intern position is mainly related the Shelter City Amsterdam programme, a temporary relocation program for human rights defenders to allow them to rest and recover from work, focus on their health and personal development, and expand their network and advocacy with NGO’s and funds.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

Motivation to work in the field of human rights and support an activist during their stay in Amsterdam,

Flexible and able to work independently,

A positive and problem-solving attitude, as well as good communication and organization skills.

English proficiency is required and living in Amsterdam is preferred.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

You will be working from our office in Weterinschans with a small team in an informal setting,

We offer an internship compensation of €550,- full time or €275,- part time depending on your availability and the work load.
