Stasya Denisova is a human rights defender, educator, and researcher from Moscow, Russia. She works at the Civic Assistance Committee, providing aid for refugees and forced migrants. Set up in 1990, the Civic Assistance Committee has since acted as a mediator between migrants and official structures, providing the former with legal assistance (including in courts), defending their social rights as well as offering humanitarian aid to those in need.
